1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique user identifier and, where available, your name and email address. We use this to create and secure your account. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
Photos you provide
To create a styled image, you upload or capture a photo (typically a selfie or portrait). This photo is processed to generate your result.
Generated images
The AI-generated images you create are stored so you can view, save, and re-download them within the App.
Usage and device data
We collect app usage events, crash reports, and technical device information (device model, operating system, app version, and non-persistent identifiers) to operate, secure, and improve the App.
Subscription and purchase information
When you subscribe to PhotoStyle Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive your subscription status (active, expired, plan type) through our provider RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core service: transforming your photo into AI-styled images.
- To create, authenticate, and secure your account.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock Pro features.
- To show advertising in the free tier.
- To analyze usage, fix bugs, and improve the App.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.
3. Photos and AI Processing
The photo you provide is sent securely to our backend and to our AI image provider (Google Gemini) solely to generate your styled result. Your photos are used only to deliver this feature and are not used to train third-party AI models. You can request deletion of your photos and generated images at any time (see "Your Rights").
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted service providers to operate the App. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service:
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — authentication.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics) — account, storage, analytics, and stability.
- Google Gemini — AI image generation.
- Google Cloud — backend hosting.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free tier.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing.
These providers have their own privacy policies governing their handling of data.
5. Advertising
Free-tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (iOS: Settings › Privacy › Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings › Google › Ads). Pro subscribers do not see ads.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. Photos and generated images are retained to provide the service and are deleted upon account deletion or upon your request. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained to improve the App.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
- Access or update your account information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data (photos and generated images).
- Sign out at any time from the app settings.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings.

8. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
9. Children's Privacy
PhotoStyle is not directed to children under the age required by your country (at least 13, or higher where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App.
